At 5 pm local time in Kabul, two ISIS-K suicide bomber attacks killed 13 U.S. servicemembers, who were on the ground in Afgahnastan helping with the evacuation, along with over 90 Afghan civilians. We give condolences to the families of those U.S. service members, to those who were injured, and to the many victims that these heinous attacks have hurt.

This attack came only hours after both U.S. and British officials warned of a terror threat to the Kabil International Airport. In response, President Joe Biden said that, “We will not forgive. We will not forget. We will hunt you down and make you pay.” Yet it seems that just like always, Biden has forgotten he is the one to blame for this terrible tragedy. Due to his incompetent, misguided, and negligence, this attack was allowed to go through. Not since 2011, over 10 years ago under the Obama Administration, have U.S. service members been killed in Afghanistan. With all of our resources in the country, all of our allies, the billions spent on surveillance, defense, and military intelligence, how did the Biden Administration not see this coming? According to Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby, this was a “complex attack.” How does the United States allow a complex attack to occur on our own troops? It is disgraceful and Joe Biden is to blame. We call on the U.S. Congress to launch a full investigation into all decisions made by senior leadership of the Biden Administration and call for Joe Biden to resign as President. How many more innocent men, women, and children will need to die before our leaders start to do their jobs?
