Utah Federation of College Republicans Celebrate Grassroots Success and Election Victories

Salt Lake City, UT — The Utah Federation of College Republicans (UFCR) proudly reflects on its significant contributions to the success of the 2024 elections. Through months of tireless effort, UFCR played a critical role in mobilizing voters, supporting conservative candidates, and securing victories at the local and national levels.

Our Accomplishments included:

  • Knocking on over 1,000 doors for local Utah races, connecting directly with voters to promote Republican candidates and policies.
  • Chasing ballots in Arizona and Las Vegas, assisting in ballot tracking and follow-ups to ensure every vote was counted in these crucial swing states. These efforts targeted low-propensity voters.
  • Making over 600 phone calls, reaching voters, chasing ballots, and recruiting volunteers.
  • Hosting engaging campus events, such as debate watch parties, tabling events and voter registration drives, to activate and inform young voters.

“We’re incredibly proud of the energy and commitment our members brought to this election cycle,” said Tyler Boyles, Vice Chairman of UFCR. “Their hard work contributed directly to key victories, including significant wins in Nevada and Arizona, while advancing the conservative movement here in Utah.”

The UFCR’s involvement in battleground states like Nevada and Arizona played a pivotal role in securing Republican wins in those areas, showcasing the power of grassroots activism and the dedication of young conservatives. Their local efforts helped strengthen Republican representation in Utah, ensuring continued advocacy for policies that align with the state’s values.

As the UFCR looks ahead, the organization remains committed to building on its momentum, engaging more students, and fostering a new generation of conservative leaders ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow. While we have much work to do, this was the biggest impact on an election we have had in the organization’s history in Utah.
