Today, we acknowledge Senator Mitt Romney's decision not to seek re-election in Utah. Throughout his tenure, Senator Romney has dedicated himself to serving the people of our great state, and for that, we extend our gratitude.

Senator Romney's contributions to our state and nation have been significant, and his commitment to public service is commendable. While his tenure has garnered both support and opposition from constituents, it is a testament to the diversity of perspectives in our democratic system.

As we bid farewell to Senator Romney, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity for a new voice and fresh perspective to represent Utah in the Senate. We believe in the power of democracy to bring forth leaders who can address our state's evolving needs and challenges.
